Continental Airlines is closely monitoring the events surrounding the multinational swine flu outbreak. And we understand the effect this situation may have on the travel plans of some of our customers. Therefore, we have implemented various passenger re-accommodation polices, which are available on our Website, www.continental.com. On the home page, see “Latest News” and click “Important Notices”. We recommend that you check this reference often for updates. The link is copied below:

Travel agents are permitted to make changes on tickets that they have issued, within the guidelines set forth by Continental Airlines, by inserting waiver code 7JC73 in the ticket designator box. If the passenger’s Continental Airlines flight is cancelled, a refund to the original form of payment can be requested. However, if the ticket is nonrefundable, travel agents are not permitted to issue the refund; only Continental Airlines can issue a refund for a nonrefundable ticket. Travel agents can find the waiver code and all pertinent rules and restrictions regarding the waiver code at www.continental.com/agency, enter their IATA number, then go to Important Notices at the bottom of the left hand column.
